 Frequently Asked Questions

"What are your weekend services like?"

Each weekend at Rock Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message.  Children are well-cared for in a loving, safe and fun kids service.  After the service you will have an opportunity to mingle with others with a coffee and snacks.

"What will happen when I visit for the first time?"

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if our church is the one for you.

"What do I wear to attend your services?"

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our weekend services.  Come in what is comfortable for you, because Rock Church is not about what you look like or what you wear.  We don’t mind what you wear, we only ask that you do wear something!

"What time and where is your service located?"

"Do you have a midweek service?"

We do not have a mid-week service. Instead, we have Care Group meetings in people's homes and at Rock Church, running at different times throughout the week. Please see the 'Our Community' tab and click 'Care Groups' for more information.

"What about my children?"

At Rock Church your children are a top priority. We have adopted the safer church guidelines & policies and all the people serving in any ministry capacity have a working with children check.  In a safe & clean environment along with loving workers, we offer a dynamic children's ministry called Rock Kids.  We also have a parents room that enables parents with babies and toddlers to retreat into be comfortable not worrying about others being disturbed by crying babies. In saying that, we don’t mind if children are making noises in our auditorium.  We are a church family, and children are a natural part of that.

"How can I meet others and get connected?"

There are many ways to get involved or connected.  You can begin by sticking around after church for a coffee and snack.  Further to this, you are welcome to attend one of our care groups that run at various times and places through out the week.  You can fill in a connect card located in our foyer or you can also speak to one of our leaders who can help you connect into a care group.  Alternatively, you can contact our church office and our staff would be happy to chat with you and help you get connected.

"How can I be discipled and grow?"

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. We have a developed a discipleship journey for people to follow.  The journey is a series of practical teaching that lead you through the journey from discovering god through to becoming a disciple maker of others. The journey is designed for people to follow at their own desired pace and you can join in or opt out at any stage of the process. The journey process is simply there to help you on your journey.  You can tailor it suit your schedule and to set goals you desire.
